A story of Alzheimer’s Disease and how the progression affects loved ones. It also had a lot to say about long-term relationships and how love changes over time. Julie Christie’s best actress acting nomination was well-deserved.

I feel like this would be one of those “devastating” movie watches. I’ve avoided it for that very reason. Like, I know it would be good but I don’t feel like sad crying (happy crying is ok).
It wasn’t as devastating as I had thought it would be. Were you in PUUYAG book club? If so, you might have read the story. I started describing the plot to Matt and he immediately asked if it was based on an Alice Munro story.
