Three sentence movie reviews: Girls Season 2

 In Three Sentence Movie Reviews

Dissatisfaction is the word that sums up my feelings about the ending of season two with almost every character in a place I am not really thrilled with. Our main girl Hannah had a big change during this season which I didn’t buy because if it had been part of her life since high school, why are we just finding out about it mid-season?  Still, I had fun watching it and I love how actresses of a certain age rotate in as mothers and other older women.

Cost: free from libary
Where watched: at home with Matt.

I feel like I need to give this show a try because so many people are talking about it but I've been trying a lot of shows lately & not liking them. I wonder if I'm "show"ed out. I've heard this one is very love-it or hate-it.

I know this is such an NFS show, but I am still mildly intrigued. I think that the audience discomfort is intentional, right? It seems like that is part of the goal of the show.

That doesn't mean I will watch it. I'm certainly a little too prim for that. But I am intrigued.

Totally a goal of the show. My guess is that you would make it through about 10 minutes of an episode. There's a character who you would adore, but I don't think the rest of the NFS stuff would make it worth watching.
