Three sentence movie reviews: Hail Caesar!
A second viewing–so the boyfriend could take in the delight of this film–proved just as fun as the first one. There’s a narrative thread running throughout, but the underlying message is that movies are magic in their creations. It’s the details that make this movie great and the details are plentiful and amazing.

Did Matt like it? I still don’t get the critical hate for this movie. Critics are whack. At least the professional ones are. Amateur ones like me are awesome, obvs. 🙂
Matt did enjoy it tremendously. I was not aware that the critics did not like it as my critics all adored it, to the point of saying, “Box office has not been good. You should go see it now!”
I think this is the rare movie that everyone in my family could go to and enjoy equally.
